About the Role:

If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want a career that takes you across ports, rivers, and oceans, this role is for you. You don’t need previous marine experience — just solid technical ability, a solutions mindset, and readiness to learn.



As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll install, inspect, and modify thermal insulation systems on marine exhaust equipment. You’ll lead or assist small field teams, ensure safety compliance, and act as the face of Stallion Marine on site. The work is varied: sometimes you’re taking 3D measurements in a shipyard, other times fabricating adjustments in our mobile “blanket shop” trailer on location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, measure, and inspect exhaust insulation and thermal blankets on marine engines and piping
  • Take accurate field measurements using hand tools and 3D scanners for new or replacement components
  • Operate a mobile “blanket shop” trailer for minor fabrication and blanket adjustments on site
  • Lead small project crews, delegate tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Document work with photos, sketches, and inspection reports
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally

Qualifications


  • Mechanical or technical background in trades such as industrial service, automotive, HVAC, or fabrication
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making ability in the field
  • Skilled with basic tools, measurements, and interpreting technical drawings
  • Computer literacy for simple documentation and reporting
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights following strict safety protocols

  • USD $80,000 - $95,000 per annum.
