About the Role:

This role offers exposure to every stage of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee support, training, HR administration, and Health & Safety.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment from job posting through onboarding.
  • Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks.
  • Prepare employment offers, onboarding packages, and HR documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems.
  • Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee communications.
  • Coordinate training, performance reviews, and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Assist with Health & Safety administration, training records, compliance, and documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and support leaders with day-to-day HR matters.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and company initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills


Required

  • 1+ year of experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or a fast-paced administrative role with significant customer service responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.

Assets

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, or HR administration.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, LMS, or payroll systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, mining, transportation, construction, or service industries.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and/or U.S. employment legislation.

Job Details


This is primarily an office-based role with regular interaction across our office, warehouse, manufacturing, and service shop operations. Occasional travel between local company locations may be required. Appropriate PPE must be worn when entering operational areas.
