thermal exhaust lagging & blankets

Does your heavy equipment have a fire suppression system?

These systems can fail or malfunction. It has happened where the suppression system goes off which causes unexpected downtime and costs the company thousands of dollars. Go the extra mile and use lagging or blankets to help prevent this from happening

Is the lagging or blankets you're currently using wearing out and soaking up fluid?

This is a fire hazard, no doubt about it. Using a stronger and more durable blanket that is fluid resistant will help mitigate these fire risks.

success story - thermal exhaust blanket trial

Here's a story about our client who trialed our thermal exhaust blankets and is now purchasing for their MT6020 fleet:

Our client wanted to trial one part of the blanket kit because 75% of their trucks exhaust (MT6020) is covered by the OEM heat shields. Once they ran it for a few more months, they commented on how durable the blankets are and wanted to slowly purchase and stock these blankets for the full MT6020 fleet.

There was one particular blanket that has a lot more exposure to the elements and naturally would wear down quicker, because of this our client wanted to be able to purchase each blanket individually.

This was no problem at all for us - exhaust blankets can be purchased individually or as a kit - we supply you with what you need.

  • What our customers say

I would like to extend my thoughts and gratitude towards the excellent product you have provided us with over the past 3 years that I have been dealing directly with you.   These blankets that we purchased have been very easy and flawless to install from the moment we contacted Ralph and Paul to assist us with the original sizing, pricing and install.   The durability of these blankets compared to others in the industry are outlasting the previous products we installed on our underground fleet including utility equipment, drilling rigs, load haul dumps and haul trucks.   The blankets seem to hold up in the harshest conditions and do not absorb oil or debris like other manufacturers.  They are easy to wash off and very user friendly to remove and install.  The size and fitment from Mammoth to work with other exhaust manufacturers has went very well and we have started to convert our entire fleet over to have these installed for operator and machine safety.   I would recommend to any surface or underground company/contractor to give Mammoth a try for your next exhaust blankets.  Thank you again for the quality of work you produce.
