About the Role:

Because of our growth in North America, we need a talented, experienced and organized Field Sales Representative to join our busy team.

  • The Field Sales Representative performs discrete activities to further sales in an ethical and professional manner and to optimize both your sales conversion rate and the revenue from each sale.·
  • Your objective is to maximize the conversion of sales opportunities by performing discrete face-to-face sales & Customer related activities at the request of Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • The performance of critical (generally sales-related) field-based tasks: demonstrations, training, problem solving, etc (in support of sales & customer service)·
  • Conducting blanket installation, tracking trials, 3d scanning of the equipment·
  • Check inventory in the location and organize deliveries if needed.·
  • Evaluation conducted at site appointments to gather information regarding the specific product needs.·
  • Identifying sales opportunities (for processing by inside sales)·
  • Meeting outcomes are provided to the appropriate Inside Salesperson or Customer Service team by phone (other means of communication) immediately after each appointment/visit.
  • You do not pursue short-term sales results at the expense of longer-term client relationships·
  • Your relationships with other team members are productive and free from conflict.
  • All activities are to be conducted in a professional capacity in accordance with your company’s standards.
  • Support location activities for setting up a new location (if applicable)


Primary responsibilities

  • Performing demonstrations and training.
  • Ability to understand products and its benefits. Use this to evaluate the customer’s product needs & mix in various situations and communicate these to prospective end-users.
  • Preparedness to cooperate with the Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives and, manage your own calendar & reschedule face-to-face visits when required.


You will also be required to:

  • Participate in short daily WIP meetings.
  • Travel could be up to 50% or more on any given month and flexibility is a must.
  • Participate in events, tradeshows, and seminars

Job Details


  • This is a full-time permanent position.
  • Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Fort McMurray, AB.
  • Compensation consists of a base salary and a bonus.
  • Starting compensation package: $ 90,000 annually.
