The Inside Sales Representative at Stallion Marine plays a crucial role in driving business growth by proactively pursuing new accounts, managing customer relationships, and supporting Field Specialists (Field Sales Representative) in optimizing their time and effectiveness. This position focuses on facilitating the sales process, ensuring efficient communication, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities


  • Pursue new accounts by conducting outbound phone calls to find a potential customer and follow-up calls
  • Prompt customer quotations
  • Negotiate opportunities where applicable
  • Quotation follow-ups and closing.
  • Calendar Management (for the Field Specialist)
  • Email Monitoring & Management (for the Field Specialist)
  • Develop relationships with Customers.
  • Work closely supporting Field Specialists.
  • Maximize F2F time for Field Specialists
  • Participate in short daily WIP meetings.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the territory sales lead.
  • Sync Online Set Up / Management for Field Specialists
  • Research projects that fit our strategic goals.
  • Participate in sales and 1:1 meetings.
  • You do not pursue short-term sales results at the expense of longer-term client relationships
  • Maintain productive and free from conflict relationships with other team members.
  • All activities are to be conducted in a professional capacity by Stallion Marine’s standards.


You will also be required to:

  • Participate in short daily WIP meetings
  • Participate in events, tradeshows, and seminars


Qualifications and Skills


  • Two years professional experience as Inside Sales Representative or similar role.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Well-developed computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Knowledge and application of CRM software
  • Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated


Job Details


  • This is a full-time permanent position.
  • Ability to relocate or reliably commute to 82 Routledge Ave., Headingley, MB. R4H 0A9
  • Compensation consists of a base salary and a bonus.
  • Starting compensation package: $80,000 annually.
