WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR (EDMONTON)

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Coordinator at Mammoth Equipment and Exhaust, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including but not limited to inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment maintenance. Coordinate with customer service, generate shipping documents, and ensure the efficiency of tools and equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing incoming finished goods and raw materials. Ensuring the unloading and put away time align with the Warehouse and Logistics KPIs.
  • Keeping inventory records, conducting physical counts of inventory, and updating inventory records.
  • Manufacturing crates for our finished goods. Operating and maintaining hand/power tools and packaging equipment. Lifting and moving products around the warehouse to improve space utilization. Moving products for packaging inside the warehouse, loading them into delivery trucks, and operating forklifts safely and responsibly. Identifying product, labeling, and packing appropriately. boxing and shrink-wrapping duties as well as these will come up from time to time.
  • Picking and fulfilling orders. Use the MS spreadsheet to communicate the work progress.

  • Shipping orders and ensuring carriers/couriers pick up the right boxes/crates. Use the MS spreadsheet to communicate the work progress.
  • Ensuring your work aligns with the Warehouse and Logistics KPIs and team objectives.
  • Maintaining working area clean and organized. Improving the facility’s operational conditions.
  • Abiding by all health and safety regulations. Attend applicable safety trainings to ensure knowledge of safe working practices. Identify and report health and safety issues to your manager.

Qualifications


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience is a warehouse or similar role is advantageous.
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift and stand-up reach truck is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence in English.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence or reports in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units.
  • Experience utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).

Required computer skills:

  • Must have intermediate computer skills, preferably in a warehouse environment that utilizes carrier websites and google sheets.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with an inventory management system is a plus.

Physical Job Requirements:

Walking:

  • Ability to walk up to 2 miles per shift.

Lifting:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds individually.
  • Frequently lift up to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
  • Rarely lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.

Manual Handling:

  • Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel as necessary for various tasks.

Climbing:

  • Climb up and down stairs and/or ladders as required.

Visual Acuity:

  • Demonstrate clear vision, including the ability to read small print and distinguish colors for accurate product identification.

Depth Perception:

  • Possess depth perception skills for safe operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain good peripheral vision to be aware of surroundings and potential hazards in the warehouse environment.

Hand-Eye Coordination:

  • Exhibit strong hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve precise movements, such as labeling and packaging.

Fine Motor Skills:

  • Utilize fine motor skills for tasks like operating small tools and handling small inventory items.

Spatial Awareness:

  • Have spatial awareness to navigate and move products efficiently in the warehouse space.

Auditory Perception:

  • Demonstrate the ability to hear and respond to equipment signals, alarms, and communication from team members for a safe working environment.

Balance:

  • Maintain good balance for tasks that involve climbing ladders or moving on elevated surfaces.

Attendance Expectations:

  • Regular Attendance: Consistent attendance during scheduled shifts.
  • Reliability: Must be dependable and have reliably commute to work.

Safety and Health:

  • Adherence to Regulations: Abide by all health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Safety Trainings: Attend applicable safety trainings to ensure knowledge of safe working practices.
  • Reporting: Identify and report health and safety issues to the manager.

Additional requirements:
