About the Role:

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is a dynamic generalist role responsible for supporting the Group Marketing Operations Manager and Product Marketers in executing marketing and event strategies. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless alignment of marketing activities with business objectives, contributing to lead generation, sales enablement, content creation, and event coordination.



This is a term position until November 2026, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Administrative Support

  • Assist the Regional Product Marketing Specialist in coordinating and tracking marketing initiatives across multiple brands.
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, including detailed minutes and action items, and ensure proper documentation of marketing assets.
  • Manage and update task management tools to reflect project progress and timelines.
  • Monitor project deadlines and proactively identify any risks to delivery.

Event Planning and Execution

  • Coordinate the execution of industry events, tradeshows, and sponsorships, including liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, operations, logistics) and external vendors.
  • Manage event registrations, booth bookings, and related administrative tasks such as submitting invoices and coordinating with the accounting department.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials and booth displays.
  • Support post-event analysis by compiling feedback and performance data to inform future participation.
  • Contribute to the development of annual event plans and reports based on previous year outcomes.

Content and Marketing Collateral Support

  • Assist in the drafting and editing of marketing content and sales collateral under guidance from the marketing team, ensuring consistency with brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Participate in product training to acquire foundational knowledge required to support content development across different brands.

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Support the implementation of email marketing campaigns and digital advertising initiatives, including updating ad content across platforms.
  • Schedule and publish social media content across various channels, aligned with campaign calendars.
  • Monitor and report on digital performance metrics as directed.
  • Publish internal communications on the company’s intranet platform (Pulse) to share marketing updates and completed projects.

Stakeholder Engagement and Brand Team Participation

  • Represent the marketing function in cross-functional brand team meetings, especially for smaller brands, by capturing team requirements and reporting on marketing deliverables.
  • Assist in the rollout of marketing projects and facilitate feedback collection from internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or communications-related role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in standard business tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office) and familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Ads, or social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Skills in any of the following areas will be considered an asset: Graphic design, Web development or CMS management, Copywriting and editing, Digital advertising, Videography or photography, Event coordination
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, particularly in sectors such as mining, transportation, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows or regional meetings.

  • This is a full-time, term position until November 2026, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
  • Ability to relocate or reliably commute to 82 Routledge Avenue, Headingley, MB R4H 0A9.
  • Compensation package: From $65,000.00 per annum.
